Visitor Policy

DeHart Dogges is dedicated to raising the healthiest puppies for our new puppy owners. For this reason, we have policies regarding the visiting of our puppies:

If you want to make sure that you are getting your puppy from a reputable breeder, not a puppy mill and ABSOLUTELY not a scam (and you SHOULD make sure), you are welcome to ask for references, call our vet (yes, she comes to me to give exams) , call and talk to me.... and also, read our health care guarantee. This should give you the confidence to know you're working with a good breeder.

Talk to your vet about vaccination schedules and when it will be safe for your puppy to be out in public where other dogs have been.... where other people have been WITH those dogs. A lot of sites answering the question, "What you should know about buying a puppy" advocate for visiting the breeder and meeting them and their dogs. The problem with this is that it is for the buyer's peace of mind , not the puppy's health or the adult breeders health. I want you to have peace of mind. However, our puppies are raised in our home and attached to our home. This means you can't come visit the adult dogs or me, without also "visiting my puppies" and their mama and putting them at risk. I am happy to send you pictures and videos of my puppies. I will also Facetime with you, me and your puppy of choice.

After your initial deposit you will receive a video from me EVERY SUNDAY so that you can watch your puppy grow with me!
